Prostall Construction installs roofs on new commercial construction projects.
We cooperate with general contractors to complete work quickly, understanding the importance of the building timeline and that other trades have work that must be completed, too.
The roofing materials we use most often on commercial roofs include asphalt shingle, tile, and R-panel metal.
Commercial roofs get damaged in a variety of ways. Storm winds and hail batter shingles and metal panels.
Harmful UV rays degrade asphalt aggregate. Falling trees crush roofs and barrel tiles break when people walk on them incorrectly.

Got leaks? Commercial roof leaks occur for a variety of reasons. Sometimes decking or roofing materials haven’t been installed properly. Flashing is inadequate or no longer seals well and allows rain into the roof intersection below. Animals chew through the boots around vents, allowing moisture to penetrate the decking. Missing roofing materials expose decking to the elements; over time, the decking rots and develops holes. Sometimes the origin of a leak isn’t obvious. Prostall professionals identify and repair commercial roof leaks.
Prostall Construction replaces commercial roofs. Most often, we replace asphalt shingle roofs because although this material is less expensive than other options (like metal or tile), its lifespan is shorter. Asphalt shingles last between 15 and 30 years, depending on their type and grade. Over time, exposure to the elements causes the aggregate on asphalt shingles to break down and wash off. Eventually, so much of the granule layer has worn off that the shingles lose their effectiveness as a roof covering. At this point, they need to be torn off and replaced.

Commercial buildings need gutter systems around their roofs for two main reasons: 1) to carry roof runoff away from the foundation and deposit it safely in a drain system or drainage area, and 2) to keep runoff from falling straight off the roof and onto plants, cars, objects, and people below. Call Prostall Construction to have gutters installed on your Dallas-Fort Worth commercial building. We usually recommend deeper, wider gutters (6” or 7”) be installed on buildings with large roofs to accommodate the volume of water collected.
Eliminate the significant task of commercial roof gutter cleaning by having sturdy mesh panels installed over gutters. These panels, also called guards, covers, and filters, keep debris out of gutters while letting water in. Once installed, gutter panels let roof runoff enter through the mesh while keeping twigs, granules, leaves, plants, toys, and rodents out. We install gutter protection on commercial roofs.
